So...everybody....SO sorry it's been a while since I've posted! SO many things going on that I'm planning for: a nice vacation in Florida in July immediately following a trip to Europe ALSO in July, creating clothing lines for a show I will do in Europe with celebrity photographer Rick Guidotti AND designing a clothing line for an awesome clothing boutique in downtown Milwaukee, famously known as Luci Boutique! Designers from L.A, New York, and all over the country are in Luci-right in downtown Milwaukee. Now, the store will have a designer from both Chicago AND Milwaukee...BONUS! THAT'S RIGHT! I will be designing a clothing line with Luci Boutique and selling them on consignment through the store!

Luci Boutique is THE place to shop in downtown Milwaukee. Designers from L.A, New York, AND Chicago are all in one place at this lovely boutique! I must say how thankful I am for my wonderful boss, Clai; a great salesman and person who kindly accepted my clothing. The boutique offers not only outstanding sales people, but also a WIDE variety of different styles from every day wear, professional, casual, dressy, chic, sexy, clothing. Soon, my clothing that ranges between all of those styles in clothes will be releasing through Luci Boutique in the next few weeks!

The cool thing about selling through a store is the awesome people you get to work with and meet. That's what retail is all about and why I love it SO much! NOW, Luci's beautiful customers will get to experience Tessa Koller's collection-an all black line concept, perfect for the boutique!

JUST A FEW PEEKS!!!

My runway show with Raw Artist the evening of Thursday, March 28th was a SUCCESS! I gained some more fans, business, AND people said they LOVED my designs (made me feel great by the way!!) I hope that Raw Artists loved my designs as well! Photographer Abe Van Dyke did a fantastic job photographing my clothing line. Planning for the show before hand was a challenge, but I learned so much from everything! The makeup artist, Lauryn Molter and hairstylist Candi Fuller did an INCREDIBLE job styling my models! Check out all of the photos from the show and my Raw Artist video at the end of this post!!

CATCH THE BACKSTAGE FUN!!

A FANTASTIC fashion show I had! The collaboration was quite spectacular and INCREDIBLE!

On October 10th, 2013 I will do a runway show with Raw Artists AGAIN at the Double Door in Chicago, Illinois! Yep! Can't wait to work with the Chicago scene!

WATCH THIS VIDEO BELOW if you wish.....
I was a little nervous in this video, but meant to say at the end....I LOVE fashion; it is my life, it's what I live for, it's what I wake up and do and go to sleep dreaming about. Every day, I simply enjoy painting with fabric and sewing beautiful shapes together that I know will look gorgeous on YOU! :)

On Sunday, March 10, 2013 I had a photo shoot with Erol Reyal at the beautiful Milwaukee Athletic Club in downtown Milwaukee. The photo shoot was quite wonderful. You are about to see the Milwaukee Athletic Club in a way you have never seen it...through the eyes of a photographer and fashion designer who brought out the beauty of the architecture, structures, and facilities that the M.A.C contains. A special thank you to the managers of the M.A.C for allowing the photographer and I to create incredible art in the building.

BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE M.A.C PHOTO SHOOT

The photo shoot started in the lobby of the building and we worked our way up to the third floor. From the beautiful statues in the lobby, the marbled stair well to the beautiful Elephant Room covered in cheetah patterns on the floors and chairs, we captured the eccentric environments through my fashions. In this blog post, you will get an idea of what it's like to put in the work of a high fashion photo shoot at a place as stunning and multi-functional as the M.A.C in downtown Milwaukee.

BEHIND SCENES AT THE
MILWAUKEE ATHLETIC CLUB.....

The photo shoot in the library took time to set up, lots of preparation, adjustments with lighting and so on. Photographer, Erol Reyal did an incredible job working with the setting -- utilizing the drape of the curtains, the book stands in the library, the wall surrounding the models, the statues and the white curtains. He considered not only the basics; he also considered the details: color in my outfits in combination with the scenery/environment at the M.A.C and really took time with how the models should be placed. Each model did a wonderful job.

The marble effect of the stairwell created a lovely romantic effect for one of my designs. The subtly in the unique orange lighting added a dream-like affect to the behind the scenes photos I took with my Nikon. Samie, my model, definitely worked the stairwell and did a fantastic job showing off the uniqueness in my handmade designed mini dress. The direction my photo shoots are taking are more editorial: I want my designs to portray a mood, give you a feeling and see my designs in an environment. My dresses you can wear anywhere; they are comfortable enough to wear for a night on the town yet dressy enough to wear to a black-tie or where ever else your life takes you. PLUS...and bonus...they TRAVEL well!

Then, we proceeded up the stairs to the classy Elephant Room on the Third Floor. I was seriously excited to shoot in this room. The floors, walls, paintings of the elephants and natural environmental feel to the room added a spice to my fashions and the images. Though I am still adjusting to my new Nikon, the photos I took in this room came out incredible! The elephant room surely brought out the drama in my outfits. The neutral cheetah pattern in my long dress went with the carpet well!

Well, we all know the typical ways to avoid the flu: wash hands ten times daily, take vitamins, keep your home clean! What if someone in your home has the flu...then what?

For the last week, I've found ways to avoid catching it by doing a few different things to make sure I don't get the flu. Since I can't handle harsh chemical products, I used supplies in my own kitchen. I cleaned my counter with lemons AND I picked up anti-flu virus wipes. The most important things to disinfect are: light switches, lamp switches, door and drawer handles, and your computer-key board, mouse and anything that you touch frequently. I used bleach and water to disinfect my bathroom floors, tubs/showers, toilets and sinks. BUT, you should mix that with 1/2 cup water-don't over do it with bleach. Little bit goes a long way.

There are a few other things you can do that would also help around the house while your significant other has the flu.

1.) Wear a mask: sounds over the top, but the flu germs also spread through the air....with this, you won't worry about breathing it in

2.) Disinfectant multi-purpose wipe: YES, these do eliminate the flu virus on counter surfaces or ANY other surfaces. Especially if it has lemon in it. Lemon has elements of anti-bacterial healing properties...I mopped my floors with it, and bathroom floors. The product also takes away bad odors, which kills other germs that some products don't.

3.) What you put in your body will help too: Fruit and vegetable blends...blend ALL of your nutrients! Trust me...the benefits of juicing is astounding and I can't stress that enough. The other day, I made a blend using only Kale and tomatoes....and let me tell you...I felt AMAZING. (This is coming from someone who has a compromised immune system because of my condition VCFS/22Q) Kale blended with ice, RAW honey, AND flaxseed and spirulina will give you the healthy kind of energy-long lasting too. STEER AWAY FROM SUGAR if someone in your household has the flu. Sugar depresses your immune system...no matter how rockin' your immune system is. If you get a chocolate craving, make a delicious fruit/vege blend. That will kill it. Though Kale doesn't taste the best, in a blend with other ingredients including a natural sweetener...you won't even notice it. Be adventurous with which fruits and veges you blend.

4. LASTLY: DUST YOUR HOME! Use a duster that collects the dust...not spread the dust. Don't use a duster brush, use something that you can wipe surfaces down with. Those sham-wows are pretty wow...so use those. They collect hard to access dust like you wouldn't believe! Promise you. AND they are re-usable! Yay!

The bad flu that's going around is easy to catch, but you don't have to catch it. Be mindful of your hands, don't touch your eyes, mouth, nose, face...anything. Don't get too carried away disinfecting your place. Only once at the end of every day is enough. If you happen to have VCFS/22Q/DiGeorge and what ever other syndrome, be consistent with the four things above and you should be good. A blend first thing in the morning instead of a heavy breakfast is the way to do it, and a blend with your big lunch and dinner will work wonders on your health. If you have a hectic schedule with no time to cook...just blend. Fruits and veges should be more than half your diet anyways. Also, don't forget...exercise 3-4 days of week even if you don't feel like it. Will keep your system active and moving. Inactivity is not healthy.

Stay healthy and happy this spring season!
 Blessings!!
It's going to be a colorful month in the world's of art and fashion!

LOTS and lots of adventures coming up this month of March! Photo shoot, fashion show, and travel adventures. (Hopefully my health cooperates with me the next few months; a lot is coming up.)

First off...March 10, I will be doing a photo shoot in downtown with the incredible photographer Erol Reyal...which I will blog more about after the photo shoot. After March 10th, you all will see my fashions in a way that you have NEVER seen them before, and quite a few new designs that I will be showcasing. This is just the first photo shoot; if you have been a model frequently working with me, then this will be quite an experience for you!

*Note: If you are an aspiring model email me here and set up an audition with me. Please email me your size, and professional photos for my review. There are specific requirements. I only work with models that have had lots of experience in photo shoots and on the runway. If you submit any photos other than professional, you will not be accepted. If you are new and from the internet, it is required that you schedule an audition with me in a public venue. The audition will determine whether or not I feel you are fit to model my line.
